本研究の目的は, 公立中学校において定着が最も困難とされる文構造のひとつである英語の後置修飾の文構造を, タブレット端末を用いてより効率的かつ効果的に定着させることを目論む教材ソフトの開発であった。とりわけ, 日本語の修飾メカニズムとは異なる英語の後置修飾の文構造に関わる言語活動を精査し, 教師による説明や単語の並べ替えを行って文構造の違いに触れる段階から踏み込み, 学習者の頭の中へ取り込む際の練習や言語活動が場面と文法知識と有機的に結びつく指導技術の改善を主眼とした。具体的には, タブレット端末を使用し, 一斉授業では困難な個別の活動を容易にし, 高等学校や大学においてもなお定着が不十分なままである点を補完し, 誰もが簡単でわかりやすい学習を可能とするソフトウェア(プログラム)の開発を行なった。研究過程では, 既に作成されたプログラムをプロトタイプ化し, ソフトウェア開発の専門家から助言を受け, 練習専用のアプリケーションを専門業者に制作委託し, 開発を進めた。この制作委託は, 制作は業者に, 開発は研究者本人が行い, アプリケーションのデザインとプログラムの動作確認については本研究者と業者間で繰り返し行った。当初の研究計画にあった教師や生徒のからの意見集約は, 開発の期間が予想以上に要したことから十分行えなかったが, 本研究の目的である教材ソフトの開発は飛躍的に進み, 配信するまでに至った。このような教材の配信形態は, 今後のネット社会における効果的な学習のあり方を提案するきっかけとなり, 本助成による研究は十分意義深いものとなった。今後は, 同じプラットフォームで英文の読み書き, さらには, 音声によるやりとりが出来るように改善を加え, さらには, 他の文法構造への応用可能なソフトウェアの基盤づくりが課題である。

The purpose of this study is to determine the most difficult problem in the development of English text structure in public middle schools. English post-modifier text structure is related to speech activity, teacher explanation is related to language combination and substitution, text structure is related to language structure. Specific to the end of the use, a lesson is difficult, individual activities are easy, colleges and universities are not very fixed, who can simply learn to make it possible to develop it. During the research process, both the preparation and development of the project were carried out, and the development process was commissioned. This production commission, the production industry, the development of the researcher himself, the development of the project, the action confirmation of the project, the researcher and the industry. The initial research plan is to focus on the opinions of teachers and students, and the development period is to think about the above important issues. The purpose of this study is to improve the development of teaching materials and students. The teaching materials are of great significance to the future development of society.
