项目摘要

本研究は、図形感覚を育成するために、ICTを活用した教材および教育プログラムを開発し、その効果を検証した。そこで、私は、「ICTを“自律性・共有性・保存性”という特性を活かして活用した図形の授業は、児童の図形感覚を向上する」という仮説を立て、ICTを活用した教材および教育プログラムで検証した。ICTの特性を活かした算数授業について、教科書の中にある図形領域の問題を中心に取り扱い、授業の中で、適切な時間に適切な量だけ、タブレットを与え、主体的に学習の場を設定する(自律性)。また、授業の中で、すべての児童が同じ「学びの場」の中で考えるために、タブレットを用いることで問題の焦点化をめざし、価値観の交流を行う(共有性)。また、必要に応じて、クラス全体で、学習したもの(黒板や資料など)を手軽に振り返ることができる(保存性)。これらの一連のプログラムにより、図形感覚の育成ができると考えた。ICT機器を活用した学習において、毎授業後におこなった形成的評価からは、子どもたち一人ひとりが、自分のめあてを持って、主体的に学習にとりくんだことがみてとれた。それは、学年の後半になるにつれて顕著な結果となってあらわれた。ICT機器の操作に慣れたということのみならず、「具体物操作」をポートフォリオ化していくことやデジタルコンテンツを活用した学習の有用性を子ども達自身が感じることができた結果といえよう。また、単元テストにおいてルーブリック(学習到達度を示す評価基準を観点と尺度からなる表として示したもの)で調査した結果、図形領域においての思考力が向上していた。特に、念頭操作を問う問題についての伸びが確認できた。デジタルコンテンツや具体物操作などをタブレットに保存した上で、タブレット端末や電子黒板から流れる映像を媒介に、算数授業を日々行った積み重ねの効果だと振り返る。
