研究目的 : 子どもの語彙の特徴、言葉の品詞, 組み立て方などを分析することで, 教師は子どもが理解しやすい語彙、言葉や順序, 情報量を選択して話し、より円滑な意思疎通が可能になると考える。それは教師と子どもの信頼関係を育むことにつながる。教師と子どものより円滑なコミュニケーションの在り方を検討し、実践の改善に資するデータを得ることを目的とする。研究方法 : 日々の幼稚園での遊びや生活において, 子どもが話している言葉の構成を分析する。研究成果 :5月の記録では、子どもの発言は目的語のみ、述語のみが多く、教師もできるだけ少ない言語の構成要素で話す必要があると考えた。また、話している内容は、教師が尋ねた内容よりも、子どもの関心がより強い方について答えている場合が多かった。子どもが何を伝えたいと思っているかを掴み、教師の問いかけを変えていく姿勢が必要だ。7月の記録では、教師が話している話題と異なる話を始める子どもがいた。2月と比べ、一つの話題について話を続けることのできる時間が短い。ここでは、水遊びで行った一つの遊びについて掘り下げて話をしたが、実際にその遊びをしていた子どもは全員ではないため、興味の持続が難しい。どの子どもも話に興味を持つことのできるよう、全員が発言できるような内容の選択が意思疎通を生み出す機会として重要である。2月の記録では、今日していた遊びの楽しかったことを問いかけ、様々な子どもが答えている。ここでは、主語、述語、目的語、補語を組み立てて話をしている子どももいる。子ども同士で発言を聞き合うことで、発言の得意な子どもの話し方が、他児にとって良いモデルとなることを感じ、発言のしやすい内容、例えば楽しかったことや好きなものなどで、話す機会を多く設けていきたいと感じた。
