「研究の目的」1冊のノートをネット上で共有する感覚で複数の生徒・教員が1つのファイルをリアルタイムで読み書きできる協働学習支援ソフトを用いることにより、リアルタイムで情報を視覚的に共有しながらコミュニケーションを取ることを可能にし、生徒の英語意思伝達能力を高めることを目的として研究計画を行なった。協同学習支援ソフトを導入することができなかったため、Dropbox等のファイル共有ソフトを利用して外国人講師に添削指導を受けたり、質疑応答を行ったりするよう、計画を変更した。「研究方法と成果」2年生を対象とし、外国人講師から生徒の英作文について添削指導を受けた。その際、手書きの文章をPDFや画像ファイル化し、Dropbox等のファイル共有ソフトを利用して、添削していただくことを検討した。その結果を踏まえ、よりよい英作文指導について協議する機会を持った。結果として分かったことは、ファイル共有ソフトを利用した場合、外国人講師と作文を書いた生徒本人の二人だけのやり取りになってしまうこと、やはり双方が同時に書き込めないため、リアルタイムのコミュニケーションにはならず、タイムラグが生じることが課題として挙げられた。より豊かなコミュニケーション活動にするためには、他の生徒の作文について、感想を述べたり、質問をしたりできるようにすることが必須で、そのためには協同学習支援ソフトの導入が欠かせないことが分かった。また2年生の段階では英文タイピングがまだ難しかったため、手書きになってしまったが、今後は英文チャットなどの利用が可能となるように、総合的な学習の時間等とも関連付けながら、英文タイピングのスキルを向上させるような取り組みもしていくことが課題として明らかになった。また、大判プリンターを用いて情報共有をしたことは有効であった。年度末まで授業実践が続いたため、結果について学会等で報告することはできていないが、次年度以降公表できるようにしたい。
