本研究は、18世紀末から19世紀の北方世界における国際関係を題材とした高等学校・日本史と世界史の融合型の授業開発を目的としている。北方世界を対象とする北方史研究の視点により、「日本史/世界史」という科目区分を解体し、グローバルな視野に基づく歴史認識を育成することで、「国民国家」史観を相対化する視点を生徒に身に付けさせる単元の構築を目指した。単元構築の際には、高等学校地理歴史科の新科目「歴史総合」の大項目「B 近代化と私たち」における授業実践を想定した。また、生徒に社会の形成・展開の過程を諸資料に基づいて実証的に解釈して論理的に考察することができる歴史的思考力を身に付けさせるために、生徒が主体的・対話的に学ぶ場面を授業に設定するようにした。本研究では、近代初頭における北東アジアの政治的状況とアイヌ民族の動向、明治政府の北方政策に関する北方史研究成果を調べ、既存の教育カリキュラムとの設定を探り、教材化が可能な歴史的事象やテーマの選定作業を進めていった。その際、「北方世界における近代化」を学習課題の主軸とし、国民国家史観を相対化させる教材開発を進めた。教材化を進めるにあたり、北海道や、比較対象地域である関西地方での資料収集を行った。また、主体的・対話的で深い学びの視点に基づく授業構築のために、社会科教育や教育学関連の研究会に参加し、授業方法についての情報収集もおこなった。以上の作業を通して、「北方世界における近代化」という単元プランを構築した。この単元は「日本の開国と北方世界」、「明治維新とアイヌ社会」、「近代化とは何か」という3つの内容から構成されている。今後は、この単元について、検証授業を行い、成果と課題を明らかにした上で、学会等で発表する予定である。

This study aims at the development of integrated teaching of Japanese history and world history from the late 18th century to the 19th century in the context of international relations in higher education. In the northern world, Japanese history and world history are divided into different subjects, and the basic knowledge of Japanese history is developed. This study focuses on the political situation of the North East in the early modern period, the trends of ethnic groups, the research results of the Meiji government's northern policy, the establishment of existing educational institutions, and the selection of teaching materials. The development of teaching materials for the modernization of the North and the development of national history is progressing. Teaching material development, Hokkaido, comparative target area, Kansai region, data collection The main topic of the discussion is the depth of the study and the viewpoint, the basic teaching structure, the participation in the research meeting related to social science education and education, and the information collection in the teaching method. The above work was carried out in the context of the modernization of the northern world. "Japan's Founding and the Northern World,""Meiji Restoration and the Society,""Modernization and the Future," and "Three Elements of the Constitution."
