認知症を引き起こす原因疾患の第一位は,アルツハイマー病である.今のところ,アルツハイマー病の根本的な治療法は確立されていない.しかし,早期から薬物的・心理社会的介入を行うことがかなえば,病の進行を緩やかに保つ可能性がある.そのため,アルツハイマー病をできるだけ早い段階から,確実かつ簡便にスクリーニングする方法が必要とされている.研究代表者のこれまでの研究から,検査者が提示した無意味な動作パタンを観察しながら,自らの身体で再構成する課題である「無意味動作模倣検査」が,ごく早期のアルツハイマー病患者を健常高齢者から判別するために有効であると示唆されている.しかし,無意味動作模倣検査の臨床応用を目指す上では,複数の検査者が統一した基準で検査を施行し採点する手順を確立すること,すなわち検査法の標準化が求められる.そこで,アルツハイマー病の早期発見に寄与する新検査「無意味動作模倣検査」の標準化に向けて,その採点法に関する研究を行った.具体的には,健常高齢者,健常若年者,アルツハイマー病患者に無意味動作の模倣検査を施行し,その反応をビデオ撮影した.そして,撮影された映像を分析することを通して,アルツハイマー病の早期発見に寄与する誤反応の表出パタンを記述し,採点の観点を明確化した.本年度研究によって,アルツハイマー病で誤反応を生起しやすい動作パタンが明らかになった.さらに,明らかにされた有用な動作パタンに的を絞った採点訓練を行う学習プログラムを試作し,プログラムの有効性評価実験を行うところまでを申請年度内に遂行した.
