项目摘要

障害のある子どもの造形活動についてどのようにとらえると良いのかという視点を求めて,様々な研究活動を行ってきた。児童生徒への取り組みについては,まず,描画における画材の選択をテーマにして,本校内の児童・生徒への活動支援を先生方に行ってもらったところ,非常に好評で,子ども達の絵自体もより明るく,生き生きとしたものが多くなってきた。並行して,教師のスキルアップとして,大学の美術科教員との協働として,様々な表現方法などの学習や,外部のアウトサイダーアートに取り組む専門家の講演や,県内の特別支援教育に取り組む先生方との子どもの作品を通した学習会を実施する中で,様々な取り組みを共有する必要性を感じることが出来た。また,陶芸においては陶芸の専門家を招聘し,子どもへの実際の指導と教員へのアドバイスを何度も行ってもらうことで,今まで取り組んでいなかった,陶芸作品への絵付けという分野を見いだすことができ,生徒の個性を表現する一つの分野として取り組むことが可能となった。また,絵画や陶芸自体に継続的に取り組むことで,情緒の安定をもたらした生徒の2年にわたる実践事例を,福井大学教職大学院の「長期実践報告」として冊子化でき,大学院のシンポジュウムで発表したり,明治図書の『自閉症教育の実践研究』などにも一部掲載してもらうなど,成果を発信することが出来た。また,出来た作品を『造形展』と言う形で,街中の空き店舗で公開した。大学の美術科教員やNPO法人から,専門家によるポスターや展示レイアウトなどについて支援を受け,質の高い展示会が出来,マスコミからも注目を受け,来場者のアンケートも好評で,保護者からも高い評価を受けた。児童・生徒のモチベーションも高まり,作品を美術的にも公的にもきちんと位置づけることの大切さを痛感出来た。さらに,東海大学芸術工学部くらしデザイン学科の小河教授の主催する,アトリエトムテへの視察から,本物の環境の中で,プロの支援を受けながら,本人の意向に沿うように造形活動を行うことがいかに大事で,「障害のある」という冠を取った部分でも勝負出来る物作りの大切さを学ぶことが出来た。今後は,これらの取り組みをまとめ,実際の教育実践の中に活かすことで,何が問題なのか,どことどう連携すれば可能性は開けるのかといったことを突き詰めていく必要がある。
