本研究は、小学校特別支援学級の担任教員へ学習指導に関するアンケート調査を行うことで、学習指導における指導のしやすさ・しにくさの実態を明らかにし、自閉症児の教育課程編成上の課題や配慮店を明らかにすることを目的として行った。香川県内の公立小学校に在籍する特別支援学級担任教員256名を対象とし,「学習指導に関するアンケート調査」を行い,指導しやすい学習、指導しにくい学習,教育課程上の位置付けや学習形態、指導の実態や教師の指導観について調査した。回収したアンケート結果を集計,データ処理し,自閉症児の学習指導のしやすさ・しにくさの原因を見ていくことで,現場での指導の実態と教員の指導観,指導に関する問題点について明らかにした。調査結果から、小学校特別支援学級(自閉症・情緒)の担任教師が指導しやすいと感じている学習は「算数科」「国語科」「生活単元学習」で、指導しにくいと感じている学習は「道徳」「社会科」「国語科」「体育科」であることが分かった。これには,学習内容の明確さや児童とのコミュニケーションのとりやすさ,学習形態が大きく関わっていることが明らかになった。また,指導のしにくさの原因として,交流学級での学習において,学習内容が合わない,個別の支援をしにくい,支援体制を組むことが難しいなどの問題点が挙げられた。自閉症児の教育課程編成においては,交流学級での学習について十分に配慮する必要があるといえる。
