研究の目的1.授業実践の場にこれまでの研究から得られた知見を導入し,中学校保健体育授業における投動作の確実な習得にむけて,その教材・カリキュラム開発にあたり,授業を検証すること。2.考案し実践してみた教材・カリキュラムの成果を、記録や生徒のレポートから明らかにすること。研究方法1.対象:本校生徒の1年生男女全員の5クラスにわたり授業を実施した。2.記録:(1)ソフトボール投げの記録を学習前後に測定した。(2)単元終了後にレポート、アンケートを実施した。3.授業実践:時間数は6時間(学習前後の測定2回を含む)で行った。2回目から事後測定までの毎時間にわたり、オーバーハンドスローの基本ドリルを行い、動作の習得を目指した。また、2回目の授業から、普段なかなかできない投てきを身近に感じてほしく、また生徒に投げることに対してより興味・関心を抱いてもらいたく、様々な投てき物を用いて体育授業を展開した。研究成果ソフトボールの記録は、学習の前後で有意(男子1%、女子5%水準)に向上した。そして、授業内容から生徒が興味・関心を示していた投教材がわかった。その上位3つとしてあげられたものは、ポリエチレンロープをバトンの中に通したバトン投げ、上手く投げられると音が出るヴォーテックスボール投げ、軽量化した手作りのハンマー投げであった。普段なかなか投げられないものを投げることによって、生徒には楽しく、面白いものであると感じられたのではないかと推察される。様々な教具や生徒の興味や関心を高める教材を活用することを通して,仲間と共に投動作を改善することにより投能力を高める効果があるのではないかと、本単元を通して実感することができた。また、いろんなものを投げることを通して、危険を予測したり、回避したりできるといった状況判断ができるようになるためのきっかけの一つはつくることができたと実感している。
