1、研究目的研究目的は、学習者がニュース番組制作とドキュメンタリー番組制作を通して読解・表現力を育成できるということを実証することである。これまでも国語科の授業実践の中で、ニュース番組制作は行われてきたが、主としてそれは取材を通じてわかったことや考えたことを発表する「表現」の手段として行われていた。しかし、映像メディアを使用した番組制作は「表現」スキルの向上だけではなく、「読解力」を高める手段としても有効である。なぜなら番組の構成や編集意図、叙述されている文体や画像や音楽、語られていることと語られていないこと、象徴されていること、等といった映像テクストを読み解く方略はご活字テクストを読み解く場合にもいかされ、相互に作用し、読解力を高めることにつながると考えたからである。2、研究方法大阪教育大学附属池田中学校の生徒(3年時)を対象に国語の授業を行い、実践研究を進めた。2012年4月～5月:前年度のニュース番組制作の振り返り2012年6月～12月:文学的文章・説明的文章(活字テクスト)の読解と映像表現との比較2013年1月～3月:ドキュメンタリー番組制作3、研究成果(1)学習者の、国語に対する関心・意欲・態度の向上と読解・表現力の向上本研究は、学習者の創造意欲を刺激するものになったうえ、ニュース番組制作で習得した力をドキュメンタリーで活用できたという実感も学習者自身が持つことができた。また、読解活動においても、表現活動においても、構成や表現を常に考える学習者に育った。(学習者のアンケートより)(2)評価方法の深化評価規準表(ルーブリック)を毎回提示し、指導者だけでなく学習者も評価することを通じて、評価の観点を精選することができた。
