1 研究目的我が国および世界の諸地域には、実に様々な「歌」が存在するが、それぞれに独特の表情や味わい、文化的背景をもっている。それらを歌唱教材として扱う場合、音楽的な様式に相応しい歌い方ができるように指導することが大切である。本研究では、言葉と音楽とをつなぐものとして「装飾的旋律」(コブシ)に着目し、声による表現力を磨く学習を構想していくことを目的とする。2 研究方法(1)文献研究を行い、研究論文、各地の中学校における学習指導案や研究紀要等の資料から指導計画の実際について考察したり、単元構成の有効性について考察したりした。(2)研究成果を研修会等で紹介したり、研究内容の一部を取り入れた授業実践を近隣の小中学校に依頼したりすることで、地域の学校と連携を深めながら研究を進めた。(3)我が国の伝統的な音楽(箏曲、長唄、能等)や世界の諸地域の音楽(オルティンドー等)に関する講習会やワークショップに参加し、演奏体験を重ねていくなかで文化的な背景についての理解を深めたり、歌唱技能を習得したりした。3 研究成果我が国の伝統音楽だけでなく、J-POPSや演歌、相撲の呼出が行う「呼び上げ」等のような歌に限定しない声の表現も含め、オルティンドー、シキムセ、ゴスペルといった世界の諸地域の「コブシ」を伴う歌唱曲等、教材として相応しいものを幅広く発掘することができた。このような学習を通して、生徒が「ヒトが歌を歌うことの意味」について考える絶好の機会となり、表現の多様さを感じ取ったり、音楽の諸要素のはたらきに目を向けたりすることにもつながった。また、歌唱表現の技能が高まり、生徒の音楽的な成長が見られた。
