1研究目的音楽は音楽だけの独立した文化として存在するのではなく、人間やその集団を取りまく様々な環境や諸条件と深く関わって存在している。この地球上の存在するあらゆる音楽を価値ある存在として捉えさせるため、「文化としての音楽」という視点から中学校3年間における音楽科カリキュラムを構築していくことを目的とする。2研究方法(1)文献研究を行い、各地の中学校における学習指導案、研究紀要、研究論文等の資料から指導計画の実際について考察した。(2)各地の中学校における音楽授業を参観し、単元構成の有効性について考察した。(3)研究内容の一部を取り入れた授業実践を近隣の学校に依頼したり、本校での研究成果を研修会等で紹介したりすることで、地域の学校と連携を深めながら研究を進めた。3研究成果音楽そのものがもつ力に着目し、「環境と音楽とのかかわり」「歴史や文化と音楽とのかかわり」「心と音楽とのかかわり」の3つの視点から三年間の指導計画を構想した。それにより、ヒトにとって音楽は必要不可欠なものであること、すなわち「ヒトと音楽とのかかわり」を強く実感して、生徒たちは音楽科の学びを深めていくことができた。
