【研究の成果】廃校活用利用として地域文化の拠点を目指す造形セミナーの参加呼びかけについては、地域会に協力と支援をお願いした。特に地域会の青少年育成部の代表に参加協力の呼び掛けを依頼し、地域の小中学校の児童・生徒や地域会の若い世代のお母さん方に績極的に声を掛けた結果、幼児から中学生まで多くの参加者を集約することができた。参加対象については、小学校高学年から中学生までと学年限定してきたが、今回は、幼児である4歳の保育園児から中学生までが参加し、兄弟や親子が一緒になって身体全体を使いながクラフト遊びの造形表現活動を楽しめる活動をすることが出来た。これまで夏季を中心に開催してきたが、造形セミナーの時期を変更し、冬季に開催実施できたことは、今後通年事業としての活用の可能性を見出すことができ立証できた。また、環境と他者と関わりを持つ造形セミナーの趣旨に賛同できる講師を選定し、運動的な活動や音楽的な活動の要素と連動した造形表現活動のコラボレーションを行うことができた。参加者からの声では、幼児から大人まで参加でき好評であった。このことから興味のある活動内容であること、抵抗感がなく気軽に参加でき地域の方が参加しやすいこと、様々な人との関われる造形表現活動であることが事業推進に大切なことである。今後、へき地であるこの地域、このような廃校を活用しての試み等の実践が行われていることを多くの方に知っていただき、事業に多くの方に参加していただくためには、校舎内での手づくりハンドメイドなどのイベントや展覧会などの企画展や音楽ライブなどの機会と一緒に同時期日開催していくことも必要である。地域文化の独自性の発揮や地域活性化を図っていくことは重要であるが、開催日や準備期間、講師の都合等の調整が必要であり、事業そのものの主体性が損なわれないようにすることが肝心である。
