项目摘要

研究目的丹沢山地北縁部に分布する新第三系の愛川層群中津峡層石老山礫岩は、丹沢山地と関東山地の境界部に位置し、その礫の供給地を推定することは、伊豆-小笠原弧の衝突および付加過程を解明するにあたり重要な鍵となる。本研究は、不明な点の多い愛川層群中津峡層石老山礫岩に着目し、礫の供給地を求め、丹沢山地と関東山地の上昇過程を推定することを目的とする。研究方法愛川層群中津峡層石老山礫岩の礫を3地点よりそれぞれ約100個、採集した。採集した礫は肉眼観察により、岩石の種類を決定した。さらに、1地点を選んで、その地点で採集したすべての礫の岩石プレパラートを作成し、偏光顕微鏡観察により、さらに詳細な岩石の種類を決定した。プレパラートを作成した礫のうち、中粒～粗粒砂岩の礫を12個選んで、偏光顕微鏡下でのモード分析を行い、砂岩を構成する粒子の割合を求めた。モード分析にあたっては、カリ長石を染色し、1試料につき600粒子以上カウントした。礫の給源地を調べるため、関東山地に分布する砂岩との比較検討を行った。研究成果石老山礫岩を構成する礫の種類は、ほとんどが砂岩であり、頁岩やチャートをわずかに伴う。また、径20㎝程度の安山岩礫が極まれに含まれる。砂岩礫の多くのものは頁岩擬礫を含み、付加体起源と考えられる。砂岩礫を構成する砂粒をモード分析により検討した結果、石老山礫岩の砂岩礫は関東山地南部に分布する小仏層群や相模湖層群の砂岩と類似しており、石老山礫岩の礫はこれらの地層群より供給されたと推定できる。従って、石老山礫岩は関東山地南部の非常に限られた地域から礫が供給されたこととなり、石老山礫岩堆積時(約600万年前)に関東山地南部が急上昇したことが示唆される。その一方で、丹沢山地由来の礫が含まれないことは、丹沢山地はこの時期にはまだ上昇していなかったと考えられる。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the key points in the process of conflict between the Tanzawa Mountains and the Kanto Mountains in order to estimate the location and supply of the Shilaoshan conglomerate in the Aichuan Formation of the Neogene system. This study aims to estimate the impact and gravel supply of the Shilaoshan conglomerate in the Tsin-Gorge Formation of the Aichuan Formation, and to estimate the uplift process of the Danze Mountains and the Kanto Mountains. Methods About 100 pieces of gravel were collected from 3 sites of Shilaoshan conglomerate in Zhongjin Gorge Formation of Aichuan Formation. The type of rock collected is determined by visual inspection. Select the location, collect the material, and determine the type of rock. 12 options for the formation of sandstone particles, medium to coarse sandstone particles, polarization microscopy analysis, and particle composition. For analysis, there are more than 600 particles in the sample. A comparative study of the distribution of sandstone in the Kanto Mountains Research results Shilaoshan conglomerate is composed of sandstone and shale. Andesite gravel of 20 cm diameter is extremely hard to contain. A study on the origin of sandstone and shale The results of sand composition analysis show that the sandstone of Shilaoshan conglomerate is distributed in the southern part of Kanto Mountain, and the sandstone of facies model lake group is similar to that of Shilaoshan conglomerate. When the Shilaoshan conglomerate was accumulated (about 6 million years ago), the southern part of the Kanto Mountains rose sharply. The origin of Danzeshan Mountain and the origin of Danzeshan Mountain are contained in the period of Danzeshan Mountain and rise.
