これまで電子型タブレット(iPad)で行ってきた授業実践に加え、仮名の指導におけるiPadを活用した授業実践や、毛筆で書かれた文字と画像を組み合わせた、新しいデザイン書道の作品制作にも取り組むことができた。一方でこれまでの課題であった、複数の生徒が一台のiPadを活用する際のデータの保存、活用や管理、生徒と指導者側との受け渡しについては、Apple社が提供しているAirDropと、AirMac Time Capsuleを活用することによって改善を図ることができた。以前はクラウド上にデータを一旦保存し、そこからダウンロードしたり、再度保存し直したりしていたが、AirDropを活用することによって直接端末同士でのデータのやり取りが可能となることで、データの保存場所を探す手間や保存確認、そして各端末間のデータの受け渡しを容易なものとしただけでなく、第三者によるデータの加工や、流出にも対応することができるようになり、授業内におけるデジタルデータの活用をより円滑なものとすることができた。また、Air Mac Time Capusleを同時に活用することで、常に自動でバッグアップすることができるため、データの破損や不意な削除にも対応することができるようになった。また、「フォトリッチ360°」を活用することで、青銅器などの立体物を360°方向から鑑賞することや、任意の場所を拡大・縮小して鑑賞できることが、立体物の鑑賞方法を大きく変えるものとなり、生徒の興味・関心を引き出すことにつながった。以上のような研究成果とともに、今後は電子型タブレットの継続的な活用を前提としたノートの取り方や活用(ノートテイキング)について研究していく必要性を感じるものとなった。
