人工的に脱灰したエナメル質片にエキシマレーザー光照射を行い、再石灰化液組成による再石灰化反応の促進と応用領域の拡大について基礎的検討を加えた。エナメル質片は、ヒト上顎中切歯の唇面をエポキシ樹脂で包埋して、エナメル質表層を研磨除去して作製した。人工脱灰を行った後、再石灰化液作用とレーザー光照射後、人工唾液に浸漬した群(同時作用+人工唾液),再石灰化液作用とレーザー光照射した群(同時作用)、人工唾液にのみ浸漬した群(人工唾液)、非照射・無処理群(対照)の4群に分け、SEM像の観察、VHNおよびCa溶出量(耐酸性試験)の比較を行った。KrF(248nm)エキシマレーザー光の照射条件は,70mJ/cm^2,2000shotsとした。再石灰化液の組成は,Ca:0.3〜0.5mM,P:1.8〜5.3mM,F:0〜5.2mM,NaHCO_3:0〜20mM,CMC:0〜1%の間で種々の条件を設定した。人工唾液組成は0.5%-CMC,1.5mM-CaCl_2・2H_2O,0.9mM-K_2HPO_4,0.02ppm-NaF,pH7.0とし、37℃、48時間浸漬を行った。再石灰化液の組成がCa:3.0mM,P:1.8mM,F:0.6mM,NaHCO_3:20mM,CMC:1%と、Ca:3.0mM,P:1.8mM,F:5.2mM,NaHCO_3:1mM,CMC:1%の同時作用および同時作用+人工唾液のエナメル質片のSEM像からは,再石灰化反応によると考えられる堆積物が観察された。また、硬度は対照<人工唾液<同時作用<同時作用+人工唾液の順で、両再石灰化液とも群間に有意差が認められた。耐酸性試験では、Ca溶出量が同時作用<同時作用+人工唾液<人工唾液<対照の順で、両再石灰化液とも群間に有意差が認められた。硬度の回復と耐酸性試験の結果は、一致した傾向を示さなかったが、両石灰化液とエキシマレーザー光照射の同時作用が硬度の回復や耐酸性の付与に大きく寄与することが示唆された。
The artificial de-ash system is used to remove ash.
