本研究では,ネットワークを利用して学部と附属の指導教官とが協力して実習指導を行うことを試みた。1.実習生の授業場面をネットワークを介して大学で観察することによる指導の可能性学部-附属間は128Kbpsの専用線で接続されており,この回線を利用してテレビ会議システム(Enhanced CU-SeeM)を用い実習生の授業観察を数回行った。その結果,このシステムでは超指向性のマイクロフォンを利用しても音声情報の伝達が不十分であり,また,高性能なテレビカメラを利用しても子ども一人ひとりの学習の様子を捉えるまでには至らず,ネットワークを介して指導するには授業に関する情報量が不足することが明かとなった。特に子ども達が個別,あるいはグループごとに活動する授業では,状況の把握が一層困難であった。2.電子メールを利用した実習生に対する指導の可能性実習生に関する指導については,電子メールを利用して附属指導教官が実習の様子を報告し,指導の在り方に関して意見交換を行った。特に初期の段階で実習生に関しての情報を附属指導教官に伝えることによって実習指導が適切に行なわれるようになった。一方,実習生も毎日実習の様子や感想をゼミのメーリングリストで報告し,実習生同士の情報交換や指導教官,先輩,現職教員の院生等からの助言が行なわれた。これには附属の指導教官は入っていないこともあり,附属指導教官と教育に対する考え方の違う実習生への指導が効果的に行えた。この他,実習後実習生から実習期間中の活動等に関する情報が実習前にほとんど得られないという問題が提起され,教育実習に関するホームページを作成し,次年度の実習生へ情報提供のために今年度の実習の記録を掲載した(http://center.edu.wakayama-u.ac.jp/jissyu/index.html)。
