学習者の多くは,「授業がつまらない」から英語学習に消極的であり「授業方法の改善」を強く望んでいる-これは日本の英語教育が抱える最大の問題の一つである。一つの要因に,学習者の多様なレベルを考慮しない「画一的な教材の使用」が挙げられる。学習者の学習意欲は,与えられるタスクの難易度によって変動するものである。低学力者も積極的に授業に参加する意欲のわく教材,多様なレベルの学習者に対応できる教材が必要とされている。本研究では,中等教育機関における英語教育の活性化のために,特に多様な学力レベルを含む学習者集団の,学習への全体積極参加の促進を目指した教材開発ストラテジーとその応用を提案した。まず,既存の中学生用各種ワークブックのタスクと実際授業で課されたタスクに対する学習者の難易度判定とそれらに対する学習意欲の度合を調査した。いずれものタスクもその難易度判定にかなりのばらつきがみられた。学習意欲についても同様である。特に,低学力者の学習意欲に関する反応は否定的なものばかりであった。次に,研究用に作成されたタスクについて,その種類とレベル設定の変化に伴う学習者の難易度判定と学習意欲の変化を調査・分析した。これらの結果と学習理論や言語習得理論により,適切なタスクタイプが選出された。以上を踏まえて教材の種類,難易度の目安等タスク作成のガイドラインを示し,その応用を中学校2年生用教科書補助ワークブックの実例にて提案した。最後に,学習者からその試作教材に対する記述式フィードバックを得たところ,概ね好評であった。以後,本研究成果を全国規模の授業改革に繋げるべく,教科書出版者とのタイアップを検討する。

Many learners have a negative attitude toward English learning, such as "teaching" and "improvement of teaching methods". One of the main reasons for this is that learners should consider the use of the teaching materials of drawing one. The learner's intention to learn is related to the difficulty of learning. Low academic students should actively participate in teaching materials, and multiple learners should participate in teaching materials. This study aims at promoting the active participation of all learners in English education in secondary education institutions, especially in the development of teaching materials and their use. To investigate the degree of difficulty of learners and learning intention of existing middle school students using various kinds of teaching methods. It is difficult to determine whether there is any difference between the two. Learning intention is the same. In particular, the low academic ability of the learning intention is related to the negative. Secondly, the research was conducted to determine the difficulty of learners and the change of learning intention. The result of this study is that the theory of speech acquisition is appropriate. The above is an example of how to make textbooks for middle school students for 2 years, and how to make textbooks for middle school students for 2 years. Finally, the learners try to write the textbook in the description of the formula, generally praised. In the future, the results of this research will be discussed in the context of nationwide teaching reform and textbook publishers.
