项目摘要

当該年度に、以下の研究業績をあげた。環境と共生するライフスタイルの解明に関して、指標の作成をおこない、「持続可能な社会のための生活指標と消費者教育」と「持続可能な社会における豊かさ指標開発の試み」の論文を発表し、それぞれ日本消費者教育学会及び家庭経済学研究部会において口頭発表もおこなった。さらに、わが国の家計調査に基づいた世帯類型別の家計分析をおこない、「世帯類型のちがいが消費構造に及ぼす影響」という論文を発表し、中部家政学会(1998年10月)で発表した。また、アメリカのアーミッシュ研究の研究機関であるアメリカペンシルベニア州エリザベスタウンカレッジのヤングセンター(Elizabethtown College,Young Center)へ1998年7月から8月の1ヶ月間滞在し、アーミッシュ家庭のライフスタイル分析に関する資料収集と、アーミッシュ家庭を訪問し、聞き取り調査をおこない、この調査に基づいて、アーミッシュ家庭の消費構造分析をおこない、環境と共生するライフスタイルとして、アーミッシュ家庭のライフスタイルについてエリザベスタウンカレッジヤングセンターにおいて発表した。また、アメリカの一般家庭に関する家計調査のデータ分析と、わが国の家計分析の結果を、“Supranationalism in the New World Order",Macmillanの中に論文として発表しており、これは科研費の報告書(1999年3月)にまとめた。
