项目摘要

前年度の研究で明らかにしたように、1760年代のカントは「内包的論理学」の立場に立っていた。1770年の教授就任論文『可感界と可想界の形式と原理について(De mundi sensibilis atque in telligibilis forma et principiis,以下「就任論文」と略記)に至って、カントは、それまでの「内包的論理学」に代えて、「外延的論理学」を採用する。この変化はカントの思考の或る決定的な変化に、すなわち形而上学の領域の発見に対応しているのである。「就任論文」は、感性と知性とを原理的に区別することを主眼とする。これによって、感性的認識を含まない純粋知性のうちに、形而上学の領域を割り当てることが意図されている。「外延的論理学」の採用は、この意図が要求するものにほかならない。このことは次の二点から明らかである。(1)空間時間を感性の形式として悟性概念から峻別するためには、「外延的論理学」の観点から概念を取り扱うことが必要であった。すなわち、空間時間が純粋直観としてそれから区別されるところの概念とは、多様を「自分の下に」含む表象としての概念(これが「外延的論理学」の視点である)なのである。(2)感性的なものを一切含まない知性的概念が、いかにして一切の感性的なものを包括する普遍性を得ることができるのか。これは、主語としての感性的なものが、述語としての知性的概念の下に論理的に包摂されることによって可能である、というのが「就任論文」におけるカントの解答である。これは判断における述語と主語の「外延的」解釈に全面的に依存した考えである。
