疲労回復行動の測定法,及び主観的疲労感や健康状態と疲労回復行動との関係について検討を行った.自由記述・日誌形式での調査を通して,最も頻繁に活用されている疲労回復行動は「長時間寝る」「昼寝をする」などの睡眠に関する行動であり,加えて,音楽聴取,入浴などが行われていることが明らかになった.また,同一個人が特定の疲労回復行動に偏ることなく,複数の行動を組み合わせて行っていることが明らかになった.さらに,自由記述によって収集した疲労回復行動をもとに疲労回復行動のチェックリストを作成し,疲労回復行動の種類・出現頻度とストレス・イベント,主観的疲労感,精神・身体的不健康症状との関連を検討した.その結果,主観的疲労感が高いほど疲労回復行動の出現頻度が高いことが示された.また,身体的不健康症状が多く認められるほど,睡眠に関連した疲労回復行動が多く行われ,不安・不眠症状が多く認められるほど,睡眠による疲労回復は行われにくく,音楽聴取や買い物による気晴らしなどの疲労回復行動が多く行われることが明らかになった.以上の結果をふまえ,日常生活中の自発的疲労回復行動と疲労感,生理・行動・感情的反応との関係を検討するための実験的検討を行った.生理的反応として心拍数を連続測定した.また携帯型加速度計を用いて身体的活動量を測定し,行動的反応の定量化を行った.主観的疲労感,感情,疲労回復行動についてはチェックリスト方式の調査票を用いて測定し,測定された変数間の関係を,時系列やストレス・イベントなどの要因を含めて検討した.現在,6例の実験を完了し,分析・検討を行った結果,個人によって疲労回復行動と対応が認められる反応が異なることが示された.一方で,携帯型加速度計について,測定に伴う被験者への負担が大きいという問題が生じたため,現在装置の再構築を進めている.再構築完了後さらに事例を増やし,追加検討を行う予定である.
