项目摘要

本研究では、ホリスティック医学の「心・からだ・魂」や「つながり」を大事にする、「内なる力を信じる」という考え方は、ソーシャルワークの視座として有用であると位置付けた。そして、ホリスティックな視点でソーシャルワーク援助を行う場合に、アセスメントに特徴を持たせ、クライエントの抱える問題を外的抑止力、内的抑止力と分け分析することを提唱する。本年度は、実際の援助場面で、ホリスティックの視座が有効であるかどうか、透析者に対する実際の援助の中で実践を試みた。一つのケースをホリスティック図とエコマップであらわしてみると、それぞれの援助の特徴が明らかになった。ホリスティック図は、全体的な個と環境をみるというよりは、個の内面をかなり重視しながら環境調整をすることを可能にする。特に家族関係の調整など内面に向けた援助が必要な場合に、わかりやすい図となる。しかし、「内なる力」を援助者がどのように見極めるかは難しい。ホリスティック図を、援助過程の中で書き、それを一つ一つ重ねながらみていくことで、クライエントの持っている力を見極めることが可能になると、事例研究を踏まえて感じている。エンパワーメント思考のソーシャルワーク援助が思考される中、ホリスティックな視座は、個別援助では無視することができなくなっていると思う。エコマップとホリスティック図を一つのケースで書くことによって、新人ワーカーでも、比較的援助計画を立てることが容易になると思われる。今後は、さらに事例研究を続けることで、ホリスティックな視座でのアセスメントについて研究を重ねたい。
