本年度の研究では、前年度までの上場企業に対する、信用リスクの評価方法に加えて、未上場企業に対する信用リスクの評価モデルを取り扱った。上場企業に対する、信用リスクの評価は主に、信用格付けと、社債等金融商品の市場価格を用いていた。未上場企業の信用リスクを評価する際にはこれらの情報が利用できない。Hull,White(2000)は、実務では、類似企業で、可能であれば同一産業の企業の情報を参照するなどの方法が一般的であるとしているが、これらの方法は代替的手段にすぎない。本研究では、このような状況下での信用リスクの評価をOhlson(1995)のモデルを援用して検討した。信用リスクの評価は、KVMモデルに代表されるように、企業価値を確率過程として表現し、デフォルト確率を推定する方法と、デフォルトの発生に関するペイオフを、信用格付け等の情報を考慮しつつ金融商品の市場価格にキャリブレートする方法に2分される。本研究では、未上場企業は、市場の価格情報が得られないため、配当及び財務情報を援用して、信用リスクを評価する方法を提案した。Ohlsonモデルは、企業価値が簿価と還元された収益価値の加重和に情報インパクトを加えたものであることを示したモデルであるが、本研究では、このモデルに企業の信用力を示すパラメータを導入し、このモデルから、デフォルト確率を推定する方法を提案した。また、モデルの実証的分析を行い、得られたパラメータの検証した。パラメータの安定性の問題等が残されているが、この点については、今後の課題として、さらに検討を行う予定である。
