更年期女性の毛成長に及ぼす女性ホルモンの影響のin vitro評価をC_3Hマウス(メス、9日令)の髭毛包を用いて無血清培地、器官培養法を実施した。17β-estradiolを360ng/dish添加し、31℃、95%O_2、5%CO_2の条件下に72時間培養した。毛伸長の変化と細胞活性の変化をコントロールと比較した。結果はコントロールと比較し毛伸長も細胞活性も抑制されていた。今後、17β-estradiolの添加濃度の検討、使用マウスの日令の検討を予定している。尚、in vivoの評価方法であるフォトトリコグラム法を女性ホルモン補充療法を受けている女性2人に対し実施した。結果は、昨年度に検討した年代別健常女性の毛成長と比較し1人は同様の毛成長を示し、1人はすべての毛成長を評価する項目において劣っていた。同年代女性と同様の毛成長を示した症例は、女性ホルモン補充療法開始時に疎毛の自覚、および他覚的所見がなく、女性ホルモン補充療法により毛成長が維持されたか、もしくは影響がなかったと考えられた。全ての項目において毛成長が劣っていた症例は60歳になってからホルモン補充療法を開始し、開始時にはLudwig3に相当する進行した疎毛であり影響が観察できなかったと思われた。さらに妊娠前後の毛成長の変化を検討した。13人の健常女性の出産後4ヶ月の毛成長をフォトトリコグラム法で検討し、内7人は妊娠8ヶ月時の毛成長も観察し出産前後の毛成長の変化を比較した。結果は、出産前は成長期毛率が同年代非妊娠女性と比較し上昇していたが、成長速度の促進はなかった。また密度に変化なく短毛率が低下していたことから妊娠中に新生毛は増加せず妊娠前から存在する毛髪の成長期が延長するものと考えた。出産後の脱毛により著しい密度の低下を生じた例も多く、出産後の脱毛は休止期の一時的な同調以上に脱毛を生じると考えられた。
