「科学の人類学」的アプローチは近年の科学論の分野で最も注目されている新アプローチ方のひとつである。そして、このアプローチの有効性を検証するために同アプローチを医学・医療の分野に適用することが本研究の主目的である。このため、本年度の研究においては、昨年度に引き続き「科学の人類学」の方法論の中核をなす参与観察を行い、その後、得られた成果に対して考察を加えた。具体的には、まず、昨年度に引き続き山口大学医学部生の講義、実習、演習に参加すると同時に、受講前と受講後の学生の意見を聞き取り調査した。同時に、医学生が用いている標準的テキストに対してテキスト・クリティークの手法を用いて分析を加え、さらに、医師免許取得後10年程度の医師に関してもインタビューを行った。ついで、考察に一般性を持たせるため、他大学の医学部生へのインタビューならびに、(臨床系の医師と比較のため)基礎医学の研究をメインとする教官やコメディカルに対するインタビューと参与観察を行った。最後に、これまでに得られたデータを元に、医師集団(とその予備軍)に対する「連関」概念を鍵概念とした分析を施した。この成果は近日中に、科学論の分野の学会誌に投稿予定である。
