副読本の教科教育学的研究を中心とした地域学習の展開に関する研究

项目摘要

平成15年度は高浜市の副読本の編集・活用の展開過程の解明に努めた。高浜市では1963(昭和38)年3月に初めて社会科副読本『のびゆく高浜』が発行している。発行年度は全国的には早期と言えるが,愛知県全体から見ると早いとは言えない。ただ,副読本の発行だけで終わる地域が多いのに(古岡,2003),同市では副読本・年間指導計画(評価問題添付)・教師用指導資料を三点セットに周期的に30年以上も発行し続けていることが特筆される。その要因として,聞き取りや文献調査などより,(1)三代の愛知教育大学地理学教室教官による副読本の監修,(23年周期(1年目副読本発行→2年目年間指導計画(評価問題添付)作成→3年目教師用指導資料)による社会科副読本作業のシステム化,(3)社会科副読本関係事業への毎年の予算措置化,を挙げることができることを明らかにした。また,研究を進めて,愛知県三河地域の社会科副読本の編集・発行に関わる先進性として,1)他県に比べ比較的広範囲の地域で早くから社会科副読本編集が行われている,2)他県に比べ社会科副読本の普及率は高い,3)学校単位で社会科副読本を発行している地域が他県に比べ多い,4)社会科副読本の有効活用の為に教師用の指導の手引きや教師用の資料集の発行,地域教材の整備を試みている市町村が他県に比べ多い,5)社会科副読本編集作業に関わる教員養成系大学教官員の指導,を挙げることができることが分かってきた。なお,高浜市の副読本の編集・活用の展開過程については,社会系教科教育学会(2004年2月8日,於兵庫教育大学)にて発表した。また,3年間の研究のまとめとして報告書を作成した。
