项目摘要

東アジアにおいて一つの文化領域を形成した書は、近代以降どのような価値変容をもたらすかを、主として形象経験に即して考察することを課題としてとりくんだ。書跡がそのテクストの判読の対象ではなく、感性的認識の対象となることには、明治期以降の近代的美術館の確立が大きく関与している。フィールドワークとして、その美術館ではどのような対象がどのように認識されるように方向づけられているかを企画展のカタログにおける解説および論文中の用語検討に求めた。この過程で、当初予定していた研究の方向に変更が生じた。当初は書論・形象理論における記述とフィールドワークにおける形象経験の相関をさぐる方法を模索していたが、美術館での調査により、「作品」概念の形成および形象経験の変容には、観者の学校教育における学習経験がたぶんに関与していることが見えてきた。そこで、小学校から高等学校までで使用されている教科用図書を用い、学校の学びのありかたと形象経験のありかたを調査するための方法を検討することとした。「作品」概念の形成を跡付けるための形象経験の観察には、認知と感性の発達に関する視点をもたなければならない。以上をもとにした論考は、日韓美学研究会にて発表して当該分野の研究者より知見を得、論文としてまとめた。
