项目摘要

1 中世・ルネサンスにおけるシビュラ文献に関してテキストを蒐集し、批評版のないものについてはテキスト・クリティークを行い、また写本による主たる伝統についても調査した。そのうえで、テキスト・データ・ベースを作成した。入力したテキストは以下の通り。(1)中世・ルネサンスのシビュラ文献で刊行されている「託宣集」(『12人のシビュラの託宣』など)、(2)写本の状態で存在する「託宣集」(Paris Nat. ms. f. fr. 2362など)、(3)中世・ルネサンスにおける「聖史劇」におけるシビュラの託宣への言及、(4)中世,ルネサンスの諸著作家におけるシビュラ文献の引用。2 次に、ルネサンス期に現れたテキストを伴ったシビュラの図像集について研究を行い、同様にデータ・ベースを作成した。具体的な対象は、(1)バッチョ・バルディーニの銅版集、(2)フィリッポ・バルビエーリの著作に収められた木版画。ルネサンス期において大きな影響を与えたシビュラ図像集については、別の二つの版および写本と比較しながら詳細な検討を加えた。3 続いて、中世・ルネサンスにおいて一群のシビュラがテキストを伴って表象された図像について研究を行い(シエナ大聖堂、テンピオ・マラテスティアーノなど)、データ・ベースを作成した。4 最後に、こうして作成された、テキストと図像に関する総合的なデータ・ベースを利用して得られたデータを分析して、テキスト間の伝承関係、およびテキストと図像の影響関係を考究した。
