项目摘要

幼児のテレビ・ビデオ視聴時間とその背景要因との関連について検討するために,岡山県倉敷市内の2歳児を持つ母親941名を対象に質問紙調査を行った。調査は,2006年10月〜2007年3月に実施された。主な結果は,以下の通りである。1.属性要因との関連について,幼児が保育所に未就園で,祖父母と同居しておらず,母親が無職の場合に,幼児のテレビ・ビデオ視聴時間が長くなっていた。2.母親の心理社会的要因との関連について,受容的養育態度(13項目),管理的養育態度(8項目),情緒的支援ネットワークの認知(10項目),母性意識(12項目),夫婦関係の調和性(6項目),親のテレビに対する意識(5項目)について,それぞれ各項目の得点を加算集計し,幼児の平日におけるテレビ・ビデオ視聴時間別(3群)に,一元配置の分散分析を用いて比較・検討した。その結果,受容的養育態度,管理的養育態度,母性意識は,幼児のテレビ・ビデオ視聴時間の長短によって異なっていた。受容的養育態度と管理的養育態度については,テレビ・ビデオ視聴時間が長いほど,各々の得点が低くなった。また,親のテレビに対する意識においても幼児のテレビ・ビデオ視聴時間の長短によって異なり,視聴時間が長いほど得点が高くなっていた。3.幼児のテレビ・ビデオ視聴時間を従属変数,母親の心理社会的要因の各得点を独立変数とする重回帰分析の結果,幼児のテレビ・ビデオ視聴時間に影響を及ぼすのは,親のテレビに対する意識と管理的養育態度であった。しかし,決定係数はR^2=0.13となり,母親の心理社会的要因の影響は必ずしも大きいとは言えなかった。以上より,テレビ・ビデオに依存しない育児を実践するためには,母親の孤立を防ぎ,時間的・精神的な余裕をもたらすための育児支援のあり方を検討する必要性が示唆された。

A survey of 941 mothers in Okayama Prefecture was conducted. The survey was conducted from October 2006 to March 2007. The main result is, the following is through. 1.
