项目摘要

(1)新産業の離陸期における公的研究機関の役割の研究本年度は,産業の成長における公的研究機関の果たす役割にかんする追加のシミュレーションをおこなった。これにより,本シミュレーション内では,費用対効果の関係がある閾値を超えると,産業形成のプロセスが,相転移的に始まることを確認した。これまでの研究で産業形成には,利潤獲得を目的としない価値合理的な研究機関の果たす役割が重要であることが知られていたが,本追加研究によって,さらにその役割が新産業形成において決定的に重要であることが理解された。(2)事前交渉をおこなうプレイヤーによるゲームの研究この研究は,環境や国際交渉など事前の意識の醸成やあらかじめの落とし所の調整などが交渉成功の決定的な要因となるという仮説に基づいて行われたシミュレーション研究である。ここでは,事前に相手に自らの利得構造を相手に伝えるのだが,この相手は必ずしも正確に自分の言いたいことを理解できないようなエージェントを想定する。その上で,各エージェントに互いの利得構造を推定させて,最適戦略を決定させる。このシミュレーションの中ではそれぞれは不自由な能力しか持たないが,それでも試行錯誤のうちにある程度は相手の利得構造を理解し,均衡戦略に到達できることがわかった。いくつかの例では「蒟蒻問答」状態が発生することもわかった。今後このゲームは3人ゲームに拡張され、多国間協議や政府・企業・家計の三者が中心となって行う環境対策についての合意形成を促す制度設計を考察するモデルとして用いられる予定である。
