项目摘要

今年度は,医学教育へのPBLの導入を先駆的に行っている東京女子医科大学でその実際を聞き取り,本研究の取りまとめを行った。5月には,東京女子医科大学において実施されているチュートリアル教育の説明と,実際のクラスの模様を見学する機会を得ることができた。また,夏からは,精神保健福祉士養成教育課程にPBLを導入する意義及び,昨年10月より実施してきた日本赤十字武蔵野短期大学,東京女子医科大学,ニューキャッスル大学でのPBLを用いた専門教育についての調査から,日本で精神保健福祉士養成教育にPBLを導入する際の課題の整理を行い,PBLを導入した精神保健福祉養成カリキュラム案の考案に取り組み,それらを報告書としてまとめた。その概要は次の通りである。精神保健福祉士養成教育課程にPBLを導入する意義としては,1.自学自習の態度・技術の習得,2.対人技術の習得,3.批判的思考・省察の態度・技術の獲得,4,利用者の生活課題と関連付けられた知識基盤の獲得の4点が挙げられた。また,4年制大学の精神保健福祉士養成過程にPBLを導入する際の課題としては,多くの知識の集積を求める国家試験と「学び方を学ぶ」ことを中心的課題とし知識の集積は2次的産物として考えるPBLとの「養成目標」のズレ,精神保健福祉士が所持することが望まれる中核的知識・技術をモデル化した「コア・カリキュラム」の開発,個々の大学において教員間でPBLについての共通理解の促進,4年間の各段階で期待される教育課題と具体的な到達目標の設定,統合学習というPBLの特徴を活かすことのできる科目の設定等が挙げられた。最後に,統合科目として精神保健福祉援助に関する演習科目を1年次から4年次まで設けることを想定し,PBLの導入目的である上記(1)〜(4)について累進的な到達目標を掲げたカリキュラム案の提示を試みた。
