项目摘要

本研究は、精神疾患の好発時期前にある小・中学生を対象とし、精神障害当事者が教育機関にアウトリーチし、語りを通して、早期教育の一環を担うことを目的としている。そこで、本年度は、3つの調査を実施した。1.精神障害当事者にとって、語りの行為の意義を明らかにするため、グループインタビューを行った。その結果、精神障害当事者は精神保健に関する知識よりも、何かを感じあうことを重視していた。そして、聞き手との間に相互交流がみられた場合はエンパワメントがみられたものの、聞き手の反応が悪い場合はパワーレスの状態になることが明らかになった。2.語りによって、聞き手の精神障害者に対する意識変容があるのかを明らかにするため、質問紙票調査を実施した。その結果、聞き手に精神障害者に対する偏見の是正が図られた。3.小・中学校の教職員を対象として、精神疾患の識別度、知識を明らかにするため、質問紙票調査を行った。その結果、「統合失調症」に対する識別度は「うつ病」よりも低い値となった。しかし、統合失調症に関する知識は高かった。以上のことから、精神障害当事者の語りが語り手に有用となるには聞き手との相互交流が図れるような環境作りが必要である。また、精神障害当事者の語りは、小中学生の精神障害者に対する偏見の是正に寄与できるといえる。さらに、小中学校の教職員に対して、精神疾患の前兆期における識別や対応に関する研修を行う必要があるといえる。
