申請書に記した当初計画に基づき、以下の4班を組織して調査研究をおこなった。1.大阪府下自治体における生涯学習関連事業の実施状況、および主催事業受講者に対するアンケート調査:府教育委員会の協力を得て、府下全市町村の93年度主催事業の概要をデータ化し、自治体の置かれている状況によってメニュー・プログラムがどのような違いを見せるかを分析中である。また主催講座(複数を選定)の受講者を対象として、当該講座への評価、および学習活動に対する意識と実態を把握するためのアンケートを実施し、データ入力をおこなった。2.大学公開講座受講者に対するアンケート調査と欧米における大学開放の実態に関する文献研究:府下の公立・私立大学が開講している公開講座のなかから5講座を選び、その形態(公私立別、開催場所、費用等)や内容と受講者の属性おび意識との関連を探る項目を中心に調査票を作成し、会場配付・郵送回収によってデータを収集し入力作業をおこなった。また欧米におけるリカレント教育の現況を探るための文献を収集した。今後はこれを利用して、比較研究のための理論的枠組みを構成する予定である。3.市民の地域活動と生涯学習活動との関連を探るアンケート調査:府下の特性の異なる二つの地域(大阪市内の地域商店街と堺市内の新興住宅地)を選び、それぞれの住民に対して、日常的な学習活動と地域活動、あるいは地域に対する意識との関連を探る項目を中心に調査票を作成し、戸別配付・郵送回収によってデータを収集し入力作業をおこなった。今後は、データ分析の経過を参照して、具体的な地域活動に関するインタビューも予定している。4.各種スポーツ指導者に対するアンケート調査:府下在住のスポーツ指導者に対して、指導者の属性、資格の種類、指導歴、指導の実態と生涯スポーツに対する認識、および今後のあり方に対する意識を探るためのアンケートを作成し、郵送調査によりデータを収集し入力作業をおこなった。
