本研究は、近年、わが国においても導入され始めた包括的スコアリング・システムにより大学生を対象にロールシャッハ・テストを実施し、大学生の標準標本を得るとともに、本スコアリング・システムの問題点を明らかにしようとしたものである。地域文化差を考慮して、東北、関東、上越、東海に位置する7つの大学で調査を実施し、男子39名、女子43名の計82名のデータを得ることができた。その結果、以下のような知見を得た。1.個性的な反応が多く、従来のスコアリング基準では現実検討の低下と判断されるような反応も多く認めるものの、性反応や作話反応といった類の反応は認めなかった。2.理系と文系では、文科系の学生に反応が多く産出されていた。3.包括的システムでは全体的に形態水準が低下しがちで、形態水準のスコアリングに際してアメリカでの基準をそのまま採用する場合には、解釈にあたって基準値に若干幅をもたせる必要があろう。4.反応領域の分類に関しては、従来のシステムに比べて包括的システムは大学生の反応をよく説明している。5.言語の違いにより、すなわち英語では反応が単数か複数かがすぐわかるが日本語ではわからず、ペア反応の産出が少ない。6.同様に、文化的な要因によるものと思われるが、反応内容では植物反応は比較的多く、本システムでは自然反応と風景反応とで孤立指標を想定しているが、この指標の解釈にあたっては慎重さが求められよう。7.結局、本スコアリング・システムが解釈を進める際、数量的アプローチを取っていることを考慮すれば、形態水準、ペア反応そして孤立指標の解釈にあたっては注意が必要である。
