新しい学力観が導入された新学習指導要領が実施され、指導要録も小学校にあっては、平成4年度から、全学年同時に、その様式等が改訂されることとなった。これらの改訂に伴って、いわゆる「通信簿」も、その記載内容等も改訂された。本研究は、平成4年度から改訂された小学校の「通信簿」の記載内容等は、どのようなものであるか、その実態を把握しようとしたものである。各都道府県から6校の小学校をランダムに抽出して調査対象校(計282校-抽出率1.2%)とし、郵送調査により、平成5年度の1〜6年生の三学期分のすべての「通信簿」とその記入の手引等の送付を依頼した(平成6年1月依頼状送付、2月末日回収締切)。233校の小学校の「通信簿」が回収され(回収率82.6%)、現在、「通信簿」の記載内容【【.encircled1.】様式-小学校6学年の各学年の様式の異同/比較【.encircled2.】名称-どのような名称が使われているか【.encircled3.】学校の教育目標の記載状況【.encircled4.】内容の配置/配列順序/スペースの取り方【.encircled5.】各教科の学習の記録-評価の方法/標記の仕方【.encircled6.】特別活動の記録【.encircled7.】行動の記録【.encircled8.】出欠席の記録【.encircled9.】通信欄(学校から/保護者から)【.encircled1.】0「通信簿」の見方/利用の仕方等【.encircled1.】1修了証】をデータベースの形式で入力を行なっている。分析結果を平成6年度中に報告する予定である。
