今年度のこの研究「超準集合論とその実解析学への応用」では,超準解析学,またその土台となる超準集合論の公理系について研究し,さらにその応用について研究を進めてきた。超準集合論では,先駆的であるが,置換公理,正則性公理において,不十分なところを残しているHrbacekの公理系およびそれを改良した研究代表者による公理系があり,この両者の関係は明確でなかった。今年度の研究では後者の理論の中で前者の模型を作ることができ,その結果後者が前者を実質的に含んでいることを証明することができ,研究の大きな前進を達成することができた。階層をもつ超準集合論については,村上の公理系の保存定理の証明について部分的な結果が得られた。実験析学への応用については幾何学,統計学,数値解析学に関連した分野で,個々の結果が得られたが,超準解析を有効に応用するところまでの研究成果は得られず,今後の課題として残された。
