We examined the various effects which an accretion disk suffered from irradiation by the central object and/or accretion disk itself. The followings are our main results.(i) The effect of the Compton drag : The angular momentum of the gas is removed via the Compton drag of the radiation fields when the gas is optically thin. This is the new type driving mechanism, we call it the 'beta accretion disk' .(ii) We examined the structure and evolution of such a beta disk in relation to protoplanetary disks, X-ray stars, and AGNs.(iii) We also calculated the emission spectrum from the (relativistic) accretion disk which is irradiated by the central region. The spectrum is remarkably modified.(iv) In order to explain the electron-positron pair annihilation line in X-ray nova, we constructed the model of an accretion disk wind blown off from the disk and calculated the line-emission spectrum.
