1. Twelve new cobalt (III) complexes containing tetradentate phosphine ligands, 5,8-diphenyl-5,8-diphospha-2,11-dithiadodecane (222SPPS) and 5,9-diphenyl-5,9-diphospha-2,12-dithiatridecane (232SPPS). The crystal structures of cisalpha-[CoCl_2{rac (P) -222SPPS}] BF_4 and trans-[CoCl_2{meso (P)-222SPPS}] BF_4 were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.2. Bis (dimethyldithiocarbamato) (4,6-diphenyl-4,6-diphosphanonane-1,9-diammonium) cobalt (III) and chloro (4,9-dephenyl-4,9-diphosphadodecane-1,12-diamine) nickel (II) complexes were prepared and the crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.3. Rh (III), Pd (II), Pd (I) and Fe (II) complexes of various phosphine ligands such as 1,2-or 1,3-diphosphines, a tripod tridentate phosphine, and 8- (dimethylphosphiono) quinoline were prepared and the crystal structures were determined by X-ray analyzes.
