Basic and Clinical research for otitis media sequelae

本研究的目的是研究儿童和青少年难治性中耳炎伴渗出性中耳炎（OME）的新治疗方法，这是成人中耳炎症性疾病的主要原因。低剂量长期大环内酯治疗顽固性中耳炎伴积液性鼻窦炎是有效的。对于胆固醇肉芽肿，口服类固醇（每天0.5-1.0 mg/kg泼尼松龙逐渐减少10-14天）和经鼓室通气管插入的组合可获得良好的结果。对于顽固性OME伴过度通畅的咽鼓管，内镜引导下在咽鼓管粘膜下间隙注射动脉粥样硬化胶原是有效的。

The aim of this study was focused on the development of new treatments for intractable otitis media with effusion (OME) in children and adolescents which cause most of the middle ear inflammatory diseases in adults.Low-dose long-term macrolide administration was found to be effective in the treatment of intractable otitis media with effusion (OME) accompanying nasal sinusitis.For cholesterol granuloma, a combination of peroral steroid (0.5-1.0 mg/kg per day of prednisolone tapering for 10-14 days) and transtympanic ventilation tube insertion resulted in a good outcome.For intractable OME accompanying a eustachian tube with excessive patency, injection of athero collagen into submucosal space of the eustachian tube guided by an endoscope was found to be effective.
