Within the project coating solutions evaluated in a predecessor project will be further developed and transferred to application oriented environments. At first, highly kinetic thermal spray processes will be developed for the repair of single and polycrystalline nickel base alloys as well as the coating of additive manufactured variants - furthermore, innovative, columnar thermal barrier coatings on nickel base super alloys.
