项目摘要

本研究は,学習者が計測器を携行する生体情報のウェアラブル計測を利用して,教育環境における学習者の情意領域の変化を追跡することが目的である。研究最終年度である平成16年度は,学校環境における応用可能性について結論を得ることを目標に,以下(1)から(3)の課題を実施した。(1)情意的変容のマーカーになる生体情報の抽出多くの生体情報を測定することは,被測定者への負担を増大することになる。そこで,情意領域の変化をもっとも鋭敏に反映する指標の抽出を試みた。まず,映像教材視聴時に複数の生体情報を記録し,主観反応と各生体情報との相関分析を実施した。その結果,呼吸活動(分時換気量の増大)が情意領域の変化をもっとも鋭敏に反映するマーカーになることを確認した。(2)長時間ウェアラブル計測実施自由な行動場面で呼吸運動(胸と腹)を測定し,分時換気量の推定を行った。その結果,大きな身体運動を伴わない授業参加時に,分時換気量の顕著な増加を観察した。行動上に変化が観察されないことから,生体情報による情意領域測定のメリットが示されたと考えている。(3)情意領域の質的な変化を反映する生体情報の抽出実験データの分析から心臓血管系指標(血圧,心拍)は感情変化の質を反映することを確認した。しかし,血圧と心拍のウェアラブル計測は被測定者への負担が大きい。不快感情では,心拍は減少傾向を示す一方,血圧は上昇に転じる。血圧は心拍出量×末梢血管抵抗で決定されるが,心拍が増加していない状態での血圧上昇は末梢血管の収縮に起因する。そこで,末梢血管の収縮を測定することにより,感情の質的な変化を推定可能と考えた。ウェアラブル計測に末梢血管測定を組み込む作業に現在取り組んでいる。以上の研究成果の1部は,平成16年度の生理心理学会,米国生理心理学会及び第11回国際呼吸生理心理学シンポジウムにおける招待講演で発表した。
