项目摘要

初年度において「先進農業地域型」の工業化モデルを提示した。第2年度において、シュワーベン県東部からオーバーバイエルン県西部に至るバイエルン州南部は、ミュンヘン・アウグスブルク・インゴルシュタットの中核3都市が産業革命期に鉄道で相互に結び合わされた結果、その両端に発生する産業起動力が産み出した連結都市空間を成していることを指摘、政治的空間概念である「バイエルン」と区別して、当該地域の現在の経済協力団体にちなみ、史的経済空間「MAI」と名づけた。以上の研究経緯を踏まえて、本年度は、周辺の農村および小都市が、この連結都市空間へどのように組み込まれるのか、この問題に焦点を合わせた。現地での資料所在調査の結果、下記の知見を得た。1.産業革命期における小都市企業の原史料は、対象企業ならびに資料種類の両面で一般に極めて限定されていること。2.とはいえ、周辺小都市企業の事例として、ミュンヘン東方アルトエッチンクに立地した機械メーカーESTERER社の史料所在状況を完了した。3.産業革命以前に農村麻織物工業が顕著に発達していた当該地域では、Kiesewetterの「再農業化」、すなわち農村工業から純農業への純化が産業革命期に大規模に生じたとの仮定に立ち、ハラタウのホップ農業関連資本の史料収集を試みた。その結果、当該地域ではないものの、Weyermann社の史料所在状況調査に成功した。なお、本研究課題は、表題から自明のように、工業化論の新しい枠組みの提示を目論む萌芽研究であって、概念研究と実証史料収集を中心に行なっており、本年度内での具体的な成果の公表には至っていない。しかしながら、今後、研究を更に発展させて、実証論文として公表するつもりである。
