项目摘要

昭和61年度の研究を踏まえ, 以下の項目についてさらに研究を進めた. まず, 各戦災都市毎のデータを整理し, いくつかの観点から考察を行った. 例えば, 戦災復興計画や戦災復興事業の進め方や内容において,どのような類型が存在するのか, 戦災復興を通して都市はどのように変容したか,戦災都市と非戦災都市では, どのように異なるのかといった課題である. また, 戦災状況の類型と戦災復興事業の内容とはどのような関係があるのかも考察した. これらの考察は,完全とはいえないが,一定の知見を加えることができた.また,戦災復興関係者から収録した証言のテープ起しを,さらに徹底的に進め, 全体をワープロディスクに格納した. そして, 戦災復興の中でよく使用されたキーワード,あるいは計画意図や思想を抽出し,戦災復興の基本的な性格を明らかにした.さらに,具体的に戦災都市を選定し,より詳細な検討を行なった. 一つは沖縄県の名護市について,本土と異なる戦災状況を明らかにし,また米軍占領下における都市の変容をまとめ,法律に基づかない土地区画整理の実態を明らかにした.今一つ, 広島市については,戦災復興事業の活格を決定づけた広島平和記念都市建設法の制定過程を取り上げ,詳細な検討を行なった. これによって新たな資料や考え方なども明らかになった.以上を総括し,日本において戦災と戦災復興によって,都市はどのように変化したかを考察し,戦災復興とは結局何であったのかについて試論を提起している.このような内容で報告書を作成した.
