The Comparative Sociological Study of the Decay and Revitalization of the Inner City Areas in the Japanese Metropolitan Cities.

本研究课题”关于日本大都市内城区的衰落与复兴的比较社会学研究”，主要探讨以下问题：（1）大都市经济和社会结构的转型;（2）新的工业和城市空间，如“世界城市”东京的城市中心，与大坂、京都、科比、福冈等城市的对比;（3）既有城市社区（特别是包括赤所、东池袋（东京）、川口本登（大坂）等内城社区）的衰落与复兴过程。最后，本项目提出的概念方案，开创了理论研究的变化，日本城市社区。

This project titled" The Comparative Sociological Study regarding the Decay and Revitalization of the Inner City Areas in the Japanese Metropolitan Cities" examines and points out the key issues as follows: (1) the trans-formation of the Metropolitan economics and social structure, (2) the new industrial and urban spaces, such as city centers of "World City" Tokyo, contrasted with Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Fukuoka and others, (3) the decline and revitalization process of the existing urban communities(especially including the inner-city neighborhoods, such as AKASHI-SHO, Higashi-IKEBUKURO (TOKYO), KAWAGUCHI-HONDEN (OSAKA). Finally, this project presents the conceptual schemes that pioneers the theoretical research on the changing Japanese urban communities.
