项目摘要

昨年度内地研究でおこなった研究報告「恵那教育会議・研究ノート」をふまえて、今回交付を受けた科研費による研究では、その「恵那教育会議」という地域教育運動の中心的な担い手であった教師集団の意識形成過程をまず研究課題としてとりあげ、その後に「教育会議」運動の再生を期して取り組まれた「中津川市教育市民会議」研究に発展させる予定で、おおむねその計画通りに進行したが、交付された研究費による研究報告書の作成では、そのうちの前半部分が文章化できたにとどまった。それは、およそ10万字ほどのボリュームになった。後半部分は大学の研究紀要に発表したい。この研究の中で、この地域の教師集団の「教育観」とりわけ、戦後初期の新教育の受容においての独自性が抽出でき、そこから教育おける「地域性」の認識がアメリカナイズされたものではなく、伝統的で土着的なものをふくんだものであったことが重要な成果だった。確かにこのことは、戦後初期の「やまびこ学校」に代表される生活綴方の特質として指摘されたものではあったが、実際の地域的運動を実証的に明らかにする研究成果はこれまでなかったように思われる。そこに今回の研究の中心的意義をおいた次第である。したがって、「研究実施計画」中の比較研究まで手を伸ばすことが出来ず、多少の差異が出てきた。そのほか、主な研究成果は、 (1)恵那教育会議という地域教育運動の担い手の一つである教員側の「教育意識」の形成過程をほぼ立証できた。 (2)その教育意識の中心にあった教育における「地域認識」「生活認識」を生活綴方実践としてフォローした。以上である。
