项目摘要

1.まず本研究課題に関係する先行研究の蒐集と整理を行なった。次にその作業から、「満洲国」教育史分析のための方法論的視点を明らかにし、その成果を論文「『満洲国』教育研究の今日的意義」にまとめた。「満洲国」成立期の教育政策の理念形成を解明するためには、「満洲国」成立(1932年)以前の「満洲」教育期の政策を解明する必要があることが明らかになった。2.「満洲」教育期の日本側教育政策の実施主体は、関東庁と南満洲鉄道株式会社だった。両者は「満洲国」建国後も教育政策を継続するが、それに関する重要資料として満鉄教育研究所発行の月間誌『満洲鉄教育だより』があった。同誌は、これまでほとんど知られていない。そこで、『満鉄教育たより』の全巻(第1号〜第39号・1934年9月30日〜1937年11月15日)を蒐集し、その全てを復刻刊行した。3.「満洲」および「満洲国」に関する基本的教育行政資料に関しては、同朋大学の槻木瑞生が1991年に作成した目録(未発表)があることがわかった。今回、この目録を骨子として基礎資料の現物の蒐集を行ない、その中から最も重要な146点を選んで「満洲・満洲国」教育資料集成(全23巻)を作成した。収録資料は、1907年から1944年にかけて現地で発行されたものである。4.関係者・生存者へのインタビューについては、「満洲国」浜江省の国民学校主事をしていた佐々木東一氏、「満洲国」文教部の官僚だった後藤春吉氏ほかの所在を確認して連絡をとった段階である。5.「満洲国」教育史研究会を運営し、1992年8月24日と25日に東海大学校友会館にて第2回日中「満洲国」教育研究フォーラムを開催した。
