1.The Faerie Queene Prat2の印刷工程に関する研究では、その一環として、Edinburgh大学、Folger Shakespeare、Huntington、New-berry、Texas大学所蔵の古版本等、合計7つの異本について校合し、これらの本に見られる印刷中に起った異同(press variants)を記録、整理した。2.Part2の植字工分析に関する研究では、綴字テストのベースとなるテキストファイルの校正を完了し、綴字テストを準備中である。3.Part2の押韻部綴字分析では、視覚上の押韻の綴字の不統一(irreqularities)について、Part1およびPart2を統計的に比較することに留め、植字工単位の綴字分析は植字工分析の結果を待つこととした。4.Part1初版と再版の比較データ作成については、両版のすべての異同の対照、実質的な異同の対照、および押韻綴字の不統一等の統計的データを作成し、A Textual Companion to The Faerie Queene 1590(Electronic Version)に、そのファイルの一部として発表した。比較データ全体としては、初版の優位を検証する結果となった。5.Part1再版とPart2の植字工比較としては、両者の関連を予備的に概観するために、後者のみに使われていて、前者では使われていない綴字の検索と分析を行なった。その結果、Part2の植字工はPart1と同じペアの植字工と考えるには、あまりにも多くの初出の綴字がPart2に出現することが判明した。両版の植字工の関係について最終的な判断を下すためには、より総合的な植字工分析が必要であり、今後この方面での研究を継続して行なう予定である。
