项目摘要

交付申請書の研究目的の欄に記載した4つの事項の中の一つである「複素射影空間内の等質実超曲面の特徴付け」に関して特に成果が得られそれらの結果をそれぞれ3つの論文にまとめることができた。以下、その内容を概略説明する:(1)複素射影空間内の等質実超曲面は6種類(A_1型、A_2型、B型、C型、D型、E型)存在することが知られているが、その中でも特にA_1型等質実超曲面は良い例である。ところが、A_1とA_2型を同時に特徴付ける定理は数多くあるが、A_1型だけを特徴付ける定理は、あまり知られていない。そこで、リッチテンソルの微分に関する条件式を用いて、このA_1型の特徴付けに成功した。(2)前述の成果に触発され複素射影空間内の実超曲面の第二基本形式やリッチテンソルの微分に関する様々な条件式を考案し、A_1型を中心とする等質実超曲面の特徴付けを行った。(3)これまでの研究実績(1)、(2)は実超曲面の共変微分を道具にして得られた。ここでの道具は、実超曲面のリー微分である。これを利用して、A_1型、A_2型、B型等質実超曲面を同時に特徴付ける定理を得た。そして、別の分類定理では副産物として新しい非等質実超曲面の例を手にすることができた。これ以外の研究実績として研究目的の一つであった「複素射影空間内の円測地的部分多様体の分類問題の完全解決」に関する内容がある。その概略説明をすると(4)複素射影空間内の平均曲率一定(又は、スカラー曲率一定)左円測地的slant部分多様体は平行部分多様体になることがわかった。この定理の系として、複素射影空間内の平均曲率一定な曲面の第二基本形式は平行であることが従う。
