The role of cytokines including IL-10 in bronchial asthma

糖皮质激素对正常人和特应性人单核细胞诱生IL-5的影响及其机制检测了糖皮质激素、地塞米松对5名健康志愿者外周血单核细胞(PBMC)、淋巴细胞和非核细胞IL-10基因表达的影响。PBMC在无刺激的情况下表达IL-10基因，经PHA或内毒素刺激后表达增加，地塞米松对IL-10基因的表达抑制达50%。结果提示，地塞米松对IL-10基因表达的调控不同于多种细胞因子。IL-10可能在糖皮质激素治疗中同种异体炎症的细胞因子调节中发挥重要作用。

The effect of glucocorticoids on interleukin 5 induction and its mechanism from normal and atopic human mononuclear cellsThe effect of glucocorticoid, dexamethasone on IL-10 gene expression by human nonocytes, lymmphocytes and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) from five healthy volunteers was examined. PBMC expressed IL-10 gene without stimulation and increased by PHA or LPS stimulation, which was suppressed by dexamethasone to 50%. The results indicate that IL-2, IL-4 and IL-5.The results suggest that the regulation of IL-10 gene expression by dexamethasone is different from that of many cytokines. IL-10 may play an important role in the cytokine regulation of alloegie inflammation during glucocorticoid therapy.
