Radiation Procress from Fast Z-Pinch Discharge Produced from Solid Kripton

为了研究高功率短波辐射源的可能性，研究了高密度的z -捏缩等离子体。通过对小尺度z放电和高功率水平实验的对比研究，阐明了等离子体参数的标度规律。通过数值模拟研究了z型放电的动力学特性。结果表明，在适当的实验条件下，z放电等离子体不仅可以用于短波光源，而且可以用于高功率软x射线激光器。

To investigate the possibility of high power short wavelength radiation source, a high density Z-pinch plasma was investigated. A scaling laws of the plasma parameters were clarified from comparative study of small scale Z-discharge and high power level experiments. The dynamics of Z-discharge was investigated also with numerical simulation.It was concluded that with proper conditioning of the experiments, the Z-discharge plasma could be utilized not only for a short wavelength light source but also a high power soft-X-ray laser.
